Life Partner

A life partner is a person who is a romantic or a friend connection there with you for life (in other words permanent). However, there is nothing like an ideal life partner because no one is perfect. As the people say, we are all human, we all make mistakes. A good life partner should respect you first and foremost. They should be able to make you happy as well as accept you as you are. Even though we always say accept people as they are, it is very hard to find it being practiced practically. This is because most people have this image of a perfect life partner and when they find a few of those qualities they are looking for within a said person. They tend to forget that the person has their own individuality, they start forcing/expecting them to change to better fit their envisioned image of a life partner. However most people forget that you will never love the person you change. As the reason you fell in love with the person in the first place was because they were not the ideal partner you imagined. The minute your loved one will change you will not feel the same about them. Always remember you fell for the person before you asked them to change so is there really any need for them to change ?

A life partner will be with you for the rest of your life therefore just being physically attracted to each other is not enough (many people may call that love). However, along with a physical attraction you also need a mental connection. You need to care for each other deeply, whereby you will advise them for their profit, without any benefit for yourself. You need to be compatible, otherwise there will be a lack of understanding between the couple which could lead to various other issues like constant arguments, fights or even lack of trust.

Therefore, a number of people end up marrying their best friend, making them their life partner. This is because of the understanding, care and trust they have built with this person over a long period. Being best friends they have been through a lot together therefore they understand each other really well. Always try to find a best friend in your life partner, according to me that one quality is very important in any relationship. Being a best friend with your partner can really make a lot of things more comfortable for you. You would be able to share any of your thoughts with them due to the comfort level shared.

A life partner is meant to walk with you by your side not in front or behind, otherwise they wouldn't be called a life PARTNER. Love and respect yourself enough to find a life partner and not a partner only.
